RTTY SOFTWARE
Airlink Express is a user friendly digital mode software package for the Amateur Radio Operator. It offers PSK, MFSK and RTTY digital modes with logging and macro capabilities. There is dedicated equipment to receive RTTY and SITOR but we can receive both using a standard HF/SSB receiver with software packages such as TRUETTY, JVcomm and SEATTY to decode the signals. The main advantage of RTTY/SITOR is the reception of information over an entire ocean area. For those wishing to submit items to the EUROPE Channel the RTTY Mailer application can be used. Line length is limited to 68 characters. Use of the ITTY Mailer, available at Bill’s Software Lab (for FREE) is recommended.
